Helping Mother Nature

When you are a fruit grower, Mother Nature plays a big part in how the fruit grows. Sometimes you get too much rain and sometimes you don't get enough. The Fix family has the "not enough rain" situation under control. A number of irrigation ponds provide the water supply to be pumped to irrigation guns (as they are called). It is hard back-breaking work setting up the heavy pipe and towers with spray guns. Water is often pumped for long distances to reach the trees and give them an excellent chance to grow great fruit.
